KAHLER CAPTURES STAR SPANGLED 76 BIG 8 OPENER

Max Kahler, advancing from his 10^th place starting position, claimed victory in the Star Spangled 76 feature event at Rockford Speedway in Loves Park, IL on Saturday Night.

The victory marks Kahler’s first ever Big 8 Series win.

“I just drove my butt off,” Kahler proclaimed in victory lane.

Tom Gille scored 2^nd place and Nick Egan took the 3^rd position.

Dennis Smith Jr. captured fast time in qualifying with a time of 13.740.

The Big 8 Late Model Series continues to State Park Speedway in Wausau, Wisconsin on Friday, July 24^th for the Larry Detjens Memorial.
